About Trudy

I have been drawing/painting for a long as I can remember. I think that I was born with a pencil in my hand. I have just retired from teaching Visual Arts at a Primary school, teaching grades Prep to Six. Now I have time to further explore and refine my own artistic talents. I feel that I am only on the tip of the iceberg with regard to artistic techniques, so it is with excitement that I continue to experiment with the various mediums that await me. Pastel, pencil, pen and ink, and acrylic have been my mediums thus far. Landscapes, flowers and themes with lots of texture and colour variance are my strengths.

I have had good fortune to have Steve Morvell as my mentor, this affirming advice, on a multitude of skills and techniques has been invaluable. I thank him for his support.

I hope that you enjoy what I have created so far and would welcome any commissions that might come as a result of this exhibition.  

I still do a little teaching through private art sessions for a small number of children in the Ballarat area. Anyone interested? And please feel free to email me with any comments about my artwork.
